Blake Shelton was joined by his family and some close friends on Friday, May 12th when he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His wife Gwen Stefani and her three sons were present, alongside Blake’s mom, Dorothy Shackleford, and Blake’s friends from The Voice, Carson Daly, and Adam Levine.
Blake shared a picture of his standing near his star on social media over the weekend writing, “I dedicated this star to my brother Richie who I wish was here to celebrate this with. There are so many people to say thank you to . . . my family, my team, @nbc and @nbcthevoice, the fans.. it’s really special to get to share this with you all. Cheers!!!” See Blake’s post here!
During her speech, Gwen said in part, “The reason Blake Shelton is here today on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is because you are part of the country dream, the Hollywood dream and you are part of the American dream. Carson Daly and Adam Levine also gave speeches that were peppered with humor and, of course, in true Carson and Adam style, poking fun at Blake.

Blake is currently in the middle of his last season on NBC’s The Voice after 23 seasons. We’ll miss him there!
