DESCRIPTION:The Cole County Sheriff’s Department is inviting kids to a special day of fishing and fun at Cops and Bobbers – Saturday\, May 16th at 9 AM at County Park in Jefferson City. \n\n\n\nThis free event is open to children 6 to 17 and is designed to build positive connections between local law enforcement and youth in our community. Kids will learn the basics of fishing while being paired with a local law enforcement officer. All fishing equipment\, including poles and bait\, will be provided\, and lunch will be served.
