Lots of reasons to celebrate!
Gabby Barrett: “CAN’T HANDLE IT!!!!!! Thank you is an understatement. 4 CMA nominations. Dream come true. God is gracious.” Check out her post here.
Luke Combs: “WOW. What an amazing thing to wake up to. Thank you to the @cma for the consideration. Thank you @drewparkerplays & @rowdyrob74 for writing “Forever After All” with me. And shout out to my team, my band and crew, my beautiful wife, my family, and last but not least, the FANS. None of this would be possible without YOU! I’m a lucky man.”
Carly Pearce: “FEMALE VOCALIST NOMINEE Last year when I saw my name on the CMA nominations for Song of the Year, I thought my heart was going to explode. This year, it was even more intense. So many of the women I’ve loved – Patty Loveless, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Alison Krauss, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Barbara Mandrell, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn – have won Female Vocalist. To be in their company was a dream in some of my lowest moments. To be back here this year with so many incredible peers and vocalists makes me feel like people can hear the truth I try to carry in my voice. I am so honored.”
Dierks Bentley: “Humbled to be nominated…thank you! @cma”
Thomas Rhett: “Thank you, @cma! Always, always an honor. #CMAawards”
Chris Young: “Just woke up and found out that I got 3 @cma nominations!!!! Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, and Music Video of the Year! THANK YOU! @kanebrown_music”
Ashley McBryde: “Hot damn!” the 2019 CMA New Artist of the Year exclaims. “I’m so excited for ‘One Night Standards’ to be nominated for both Song and Single of the Year . . . Female vocalist category is STACKED! I’m honored and stoked to be in this category with these women who all work so hard and entertain their asses off.”
Miranda Lambert: “Always thankful @CMA. And thanks to my friend @elleking 💖for letting me in on this fun little ditty!!”
Brothers Osborne: “3 @cma nominations y’all! Beyond honored. And a nom for Album of the Year. A big one. We put every ounce of ourselves into our current album, Skeletons. The recording process was interrupted by psychological and physical struggles, a tornado, and a pandemic. Considered quitting in the middle of making this album due to exhaustion and mental health struggles. Genuinely felt like the last album we were ever going to make so we decided to put it all on the table, leaving nothing in the coffers. This industry is so rewarding yet incredibly difficult all at the same time. To any new artists out there… Stick with it. Stay patient and in the moment. Success comes to those who earn it but happiness comes to those who enjoy it. If it’s hard now, it won’t be forever. See y’all at the CMAs”
Lady A: “Waking up feeling extra blessed to the news of this year’s @CMA Group Nomination. We’re grateful to be included in this category with so many of our peers over the years. There’s not a day we take for granted when it comes to making music and being able to do what we love. Congrats to all the nominees!!
Congratulation to all on their nominations!
