The fans in Tupelo, Mississippi are very understanding!
Brantley Gilbert had a legitimate excuse to leave the stage mid-performance during his show at Cadence Bank Arena on Friday night. His wife, Amber, went into labor during the show and ended up giving birth to the couple’s third child on the tour bus.
Brantley shared an Instagram video on Saturday, documenting what “might have been the craziest night of my life.” He had just started his set when he was informed of an “emergency backstage.” Brantley ran off stage to be with his wife.
Brantley later wrote on Instagram, “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us.” After making sure their baby boy and Amber were doing well, and calling their family to share the awesome news, Brantley returned to the stage and announced, “We got a baby!” before finishing his set.
It’s a concert experience I’m sure no one will forget any time soon.
