Friday, March 31: St. Michael Parish Knights of Columbus 2023 Lenten Fish Fries
Join St. Michael Knights of Columbus in Russellville for their 2023 Lenten Fish Fries on Friday, March 31st from 4:30 – 7:00 pm in their Parish Hall. Enjoy fried USA catfish fillets, coleslaw, fried and boiled potatoes, baked beans, and dessert. Mac & cheese and hot dogs are available for the kids. Adult carry-outs are available. Adults are $13 and children 7-12 are $6.

Saturday, April 1: Historical Society of Maries County 2023 Spring Fling Craft & Vendor Show
Shop downtown Vienna at one of Mid-Missouri’s best craft shows. Visit the Historical Society of Maries County 2023 Spring Fling Craft & Vendor Show on Saturday. April 1 at KC Hall in Vienna from 9 am-2 pm. More than 50 vendors will be selling their hand-crafted items and direct sales products just in time for Easter, graduation & Mother’s Day shopping. Monday, April 10: Battle of the Badges Blood Drive Competition
 Join the Cole County EMS, the Jefferson City Fire Department, Jefferson City Police Department, and the Cole County Sheriff’s Department in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive Competition on Monday, April 10th from 11 am – 3 pm at the Donor Bus at 1736 Southridge Drive. Saturday, April 22: Mason Griffith Benefit
A benefit in honor of fallen Hermann police officer Mason Griffith is being held on Saturday, April 22nd at the American Legion Hall in Rosebud. The benefit will run from 11 am until food is sold out and will include brats, pork steaks, burgers and hot dogs. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, for which items are still wanted. All proceeds benefit the family of Officer Mason Griffith. Saturday, April 22: National Drug Take Back Day
Council for Drug-Free Youth and Jefferson City Police Department are teaming up to host the annual DEA’s National Drug Take Back day on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 am – 2 pm at the Jefferson City Police Department in the alleyway behind the building for drive-thru convenience. Together, they’re encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.  This event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. Wednesday, April 26: MRRL Bookmobile at the Mall
Catch the Missouri River Regional Library Bookmobile at their next stop at the Capital Mall in the lot between JC Penney and Hy-Vee on Wednesday, April 26th from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. They offer a full range of children’s & adult titles, including fiction & non-fiction, paperbacks, CDs, & DVDs. Saturday, April 29: Cinco De Mayo 5K
The Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors is hosting a 5K with all the proceeds to benefit Council for Drug-Free Youth on Saturday, April 29th. The top three female and male finishers in each age group participating in the 5K run will receive a medal. The event is held “rain” or “shine” For the safety of all involved, no pets will be allowed. Pre-registration is encouraged. Register at Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORs at 1906 Bubba Lane.

Wednesday-Saturday, May 10-13: Sunrise Beach Little Theatre
The Sunrise Beach Little Theatre will be presenting a musical production of “Kiss Me Kate” as a dessert theatre on the evenings of Wednesday, May 10th thru Saturday, May 13th at the Sunrise Beach  Community Center. Doors open at 6 pm, musical begins at 7 pm. Admission is $20 and BYOB is allowed. Reservations are required. Call 573-836-0934 to reserve your spot today.

Saturday, May 13: Capital City Race
The Capital City Race is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness and is in memory of Jared Palmer. There are multiple routes available, including 5k, 10k, and 1/2 Marathon courses showcasing numerous landmarks around the Capital City. This event will start at the Jefferson City Capitol at 7:00 AM on May 13, 2023. Come out and walk, jog, or sprint. Monday, May 15: RACS Driving Out Domestic Violence Golf Tournament
The RACS Driving Out Domestic Violence Golf Tournament is Monday, May 15th at the Jefferson City Country Club. Check-in is 11 am. Shotgun at 12:30 pm. $600 for a team of 4 or $200 a person. Closest to the pin challenge, longest drive challenge, hole-in-one challenge, and lunch are included. For more details and to register go to racsjc.org.

Wednesday, May 17: The JCMO Police Foundation 2nd Annual Awards Banquet & Police Officer’s Ball
The Jefferson City Missouri Police Foundation presents the 2nd annual Awards Banquet & Police Officer’s Ball on Wednesday, May 17th at 5 pm at Capital Bluffs Event Center. Admission is $50 per person. Enjoy a social hour at 5 pm, followed by a buffet dinner and cash bar, awards presentation, and music by the Dave Baker Band. All proceeds will be used to directly support the projects and initiatives of the Jefferson City Missouri Police Foundation.

Friday, May 19: California Firefighters Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament
The California Firefighters Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament is Friday, May 19th at the California Country Club. Three person scramble. $150 per team. Tee time is 8:00 am. Saturday & Sunday, May 20-21: Museum Of Missouri Military History Annual Open House
Curious about Missouri’s military history? Come to the Ike Skelton Training Site grounds on Saturday, May 20th from 10 am-5 pm and Sunday, May 21st from 10 am-2 pm to see reenactors, displays, historic vehicles, book signings, demonstrations, and more. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City require mentors, especially male role models. They have two different types of mentoring programs. The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri relies heavily on donations and volunteers to operate efficiently. Through their partnership with Feeding America and local organizations, The Food Bank has incredible bulk purchasing power so they can do more with every dollar donated. American Red Cross Blood Drives
