Meet Chuckers, a 4–5-year-old domestic long haired neutered male cat.
The Jefferson City Animal Shelter staff said Chuckers was brought to the shelter as a stray along with another cat. He has been a sweet boy while at the shelter. Upon intake, Chuckers was scanned for a microchip, and one was found. When we contacted the registered owner, she stated that she no longer wanted the cats. Chuckers is very stressed here at the shelter, so please go slow with him and give him time to come to you.
