Meet Winston, a 2-year-old large mixed breed neutered male dog.
The Jefferson City Animal Shelter staff said Winston was adopted from the shelter in 2023 but was surrendered back to them, along with Django, after his owner suffered an injury and could no longer care for him. Winston has been a sweet boy while at the shelter. His previous owner described Winston as a noisy, friendly, active, stubborn, and playful very energetic goofball. He knows several commands, including sit, shake and wait before he eats. Winston all around sounds like a great boy!
