Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 7:30 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.
Each week, Hilley & Hart introduces you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Meet Duke, a 3-4-year-old mixed-breed neutered male dog.
Duke was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He has been a nervous but sweet guy at the shelter. Please go slow with him and give him space if he is not wanting attention. Let him come to you. Duke is said to have been a farm dog and is used to being able to run. He also spent time as an indoor dog and is said to be mostly housebroken with occasional accidents. He knows several commands and walks well on the leash.
