Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 8:10 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.
Each week, Hilley & Hart introduces you to a dog or cat (or maybe, something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Meet Grizzly, an 11-year-old neutered male Yorkie.

The Jefferson City Animal Shelter staff said Grizzly was surrendered to the shelter with Bear due to owners travelling a lot and him peeing in the house. Grizzly is a sweet boy who does have some skin allergies and is on a medication called Apoquel. Though he is a little nervous and shy at the shelter he is described as a goofball, active and a playful boy at home. He is use to being in a crate at night time and while owners were away from home. Grizzly is use to going outside and being confined by an invisible (electric) fence and does great with it. He is good with both adults and children. Grizzly is ready to find his forever home for his remaining years. Though he would like to go with Bear, they do not have to be adopted together.
