Furry Friends

Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 7:30 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.

Each week, Hilley & Hart introduce you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!

Bug, a spayed, brown tabby female kitten, is this week’s Furry Friend on KAT Country. Bug was surrendered to the shelter due to the owners no longer being able to care for them and their mother. Mom was a feral cat who showed up on their property a couple of years ago. Bug is a VERY scared girl who is going to require some time and patience to settle in and come around to receiving attention. Allowing her to have a small room or bathroom where there isn’t a lot of stuff for her to hide in would be ideal for a couple of weeks. This will help her to settle in and you to be able to handle her daily to get her used to being handled. Allowing her to have the entire house from the beginning will be very overwhelming for her, and you may not find her, as she will more than likely hide in something. Please allow her some time to adjust and get used to you and her new surroundings.
