Each week, Hilley & Hart introduce you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Carly, a 6-month-old domestic short-haired spayed female kitten, is this week’s Furry Friend on KAT Country. Carly was surrendered back to the shelter due to not getting along with the dog in the home. She had only been in the home for about a month and may have just needed more time to adjust, as it can take several months for an animal to really settle into a new home and environment. Please keep this in mind when considering adoption and allow her the time that she needs to settle in. Carly may not truly like dogs, but at this time, it is hard to really say.
She is a little shy and nervous at the shelter, so please go slow with her and allow her to come to you.
