Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 7:30 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.
Each week, Hilley & Hart introduce you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Carlos, a 3-4-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix, is this week’s Furry Friend on KAT Country. Carlos was brought to the shelter with several other dogs because the owner was not allowed to have them. He is a very friendly and sweet boy who is nervous and shy here at the shelter. He is going to require some time to adjust to a new home. He also seems to be a urine marker, so adopters will need to be patient with him while he learns to not go in the house and his hormones after his neuter leave his system. Getting him some male dog diapers during this time will help keep him from urinating in your home.
Visit the Jefferson City Animal Shelter today and make yourself a new Furry Friend! They’re open Monday-Friday from 12 Noon to 5:30 PM and are located at 2308 Hyde Park Road. Their phone number is 573-634-6429. Be sure to visit their website to see all the animals available for adoption!
