Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 7:30 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.
Each week, Hilley & Hart introduce you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Mary Margaret, a 5–6-year-old spayed female Terrier mix, is this week’s Furry Friend on KAT Country. Mary Margaret was brought to the shelter as a stray. She was a nervous girl when she came in but has come out of her shell and is a very sweet and happy girl. She met one of the staff’s dogs and did fine with him. She was a little snippy on her exam and doesn’t seem to like being restrained for very long. Please keep this in mind when considering adoption, especially if you have children.
Visit the Jefferson City Animal Shelter today and make yourself a new Furry Friend! They’re open Monday-Friday from 12 Noon to 5:30 PM and are located at 2308 Hyde Park Road. Their phone number is 573-634-6429. Be sure to visit their website to see all the animals available for adoption!
