Listen to Hilley and Hart each Friday at 7:30 AM for 94.3 KAT Country’s Furry Friends.
Each week, Hilley & Hart introduce you to a dog or cat (or maybe something else!) from the Jefferson City Animal Shelter that would LOVE to be a part of your family!
Dusty, a 6–7-year-old neutered male mixed-breed dog, is this week’s Furry Friend on KAT Country. Dusty was brought to the shelter as a stray from the county. He came in with a chip, and we discovered that he was adopted from a shelter in Texas. How he got to Missouri, we do not know, nor do we know why his owner never contacted us back looking for him. He is a SUPER sweet and handsome boy who is ready to find a new home.
FOSTER TO ADOPT ONLY— Dusty is heartworm positive and going through treatment.
Visit the Jefferson City Animal Shelter today and make yourself a new Furry Friend! They’re open Monday-Friday from 12 Noon to 5:30 PM and are located at 2308 Hyde Park Road. Their phone number is 573-634-6429. Be sure to visit their website to see all the animals available for adoption!
