Willie Nelson unfortunately had to miss the first three dates of his Outlaw Music Festival because of illness. The 91-year-old was unable to perform during the three Outlaw Music Festival dates over the past weekend. However, his son Lukas Nelson stepped in and performed with the Family Band. Other scheduled performers Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and Celisse went on without a hitch.

“We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor’s orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days. He is expected to make a quick recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week. Willie should be able to rejoin the Outlaw Music Festival tour beginning on Wednesday, June 26 in Virginia Beach. We hope he feels better soon!
